I just cannot believe how fast the year is going, past the middle of April wow!!

We have just sourced some really nice Sterling Silver earrings from the US  Buddhas, Angels, Bats, Oms etc – Sterling Silver Hooks as well.

You probably read in the Newsletter we have discovered Earthing. Some of these products are now listed in the Shop Online area. We hope to be able to bring you some testimonials soon – these have been given verbally, although once I receive the written version they will be posted to share with you – some great results so far.

Just to recap what Earthing is:

Daily we are bombarded by EMF’s  (Electro Magnetic Fields) from mobile phones, computers, appliances in our homes,  together with the stuff  outside -  Mobile Phone towers, computers in shops, wireless technologies, even our homes insulate us from the Earth.

We wear rubber or synthetic soled shoes (which are insulating) we rarely walk barefoot and as for leather soled shoes – well I haven’t seen these for some years. In plain english – we are DISCONNECTED from the Earth.

Being connected to the Earth allows our bodies to discharge this build up of EMF’s and it also allows us to absorb the free electrons which the surface of the Earth provide in abundance.

All this is wonderful if we have the time, energy and safe place to walk barefoot on the grass or along the beach at the waters edge for a few hours a day.  I know I certainly don’t.

Earthing substitutes are now available. These have been developed so we can Earth for as long as we like, sitting at the computer (Mouse Pad),  sitting watching TV   (Universal Mat), while you sleep (Earthing Sheet), while you drive ( Auto Seat).

I started off with a Universal Mat and used it at night while relaxing, then tried it in bed while I slept. Being a restless sleeper I soon purchased a Half Sheet which I found much more comfortable. It was great to wake up in the morning and feel like I had really slept.  I also had a knee injury during this time and know the mat  had a lot to do with the rapid healing and lack of pain.

Another friend  commented the other day how well she and her husband are sleeping since she purchased the Earthing Half  Sheet, an added bonus is that he is not snoring nearly as much or as loud as he did!

Still another friend had suffered what she called “Fuzzy Brain” for months, within two days of using the Universal Mat felt her brain clearing. What she didn’t realize was that we noticed the difference in her, she was definately much clearer in her thinking and conversations.

A guy we know had a minor motor bike accident recently, cracked a rib (ouch). He borrowed a Universal Mat and wrapped it around his middle (under his shirt) – result the pain is nowhere near what he expected.

These are results I am seeing & hearing about personally, not what is claimed in advertising.                                            To me this is the ultimate test.

We have a book called “Earthing”  this is a great read – best of all it just makes so much sense.

If you would like to “test” this product and are able to call into the shop for half and hour or so, you are most welcome to do so.

Hello everyone,

Well 2012 is here – and we are busy at JOPO getting ready to make it a great year.

There will be lots happening, but for the moment we are concentrating on some renovations inside our shop.

Due to this work will be not be re-opening until 18th January, so please be patient. Once these are completed we should be able to add many more items to our on line shop as well as have a great new look in our physical shop.

The next Newsletter will be released late January- early February,  so it you are not on the email list to receive it, let me know so you can be kept up to date with the JOPO happenings.

Well what a month!  Scott Alexander King was amazing. 25 plus people in fits of laughter, who was a dog person and who was a cat person? This question posed some really funny comments, but Scott explained it very well and the looks on peoples faces caused more smiles.  What a knowledgeable, humble and really nice guy and a great story teller too. I would love to have him back at JOPO next year. Actually Scott is welcome anytime.  His new book “Earth mother Dreaming” is proving to be a great read, if only I had the time to get past the first couple of chapters.

Caterina Rosa will be on platform at JOPO Friday 25th November. There are still a few seats left and as this will be her last appearance for 2011 it would be wonderful to have a full house.

Our on-line shop is finally up and running – this has been an ongoing saga for some months and the wonderful  Fi has really made it finally happen – Thank You Fi!  There could be some hiccups to start off with, I do hope not, but if there is please let me know asap and accept my apologies from the start.  Items will continue to be added so keep checking.

Sunday 27th we will be open from 10am until 4pm. This will give those who can’t make it to the shop at other times a chance to have a leisurely Sunday browse.  There will be some surprise specials during the day and we will have Lucy doing Tarot readings and Doris doing Energy Readings/Drawings. So come along and join us and maybe do some Christmas Shopping too.

Those of you who know Loraine will be glad to hear she is on the road to recovery after some months o being unwell. We really miss her here at JOPO and look forward to her being back on deck next year.

We have some exciting news that I just had to share with you.

Scott Alexander King has just completed his new book “Earth Mother Dreaming” and we are lucky enough to have not only the book, but the Author as well coming to JOPO!!

A big Thank You to Paul of  Rockpool Publishing for making this possible.

Friday evening 4th November Scott will join us to tell all about his new book. The book will be available as well, so you just may be able to have it personally signed by Scott.

I had always wanted to join in the groups  Scott had at Taronga Zoo – but alas the timing has never been right, so to be able to meet him in my shop is a wonderful opportunity.

But and there is a but – we only have room for limited numbers, so if you wish to attend, contact me asap.

Cost $30pp   which includes light refreshments.

These are great ways to chill a little as the busy Christmas season approaches and the Painting Workshop will give you a wonderful gift to yourself for Christmas!

Doris has been working very hard with Dan Coates and others to bring together ‘Heartspace 2011”.

An amazing weekend event, these guys have done an incredible job pulling something like this together.

There will be  something for everyone, but just being able to get together with like-minded people for 2 days and nights is a rare opportunity.

Just wish to give you a little reminder about the Goddess Workshop and Book-signing on Friday. Should be a great night with Tracey Jewel. Remember this is a FREE workshop but bookings are a MUST. Just ring or email me as we only have room for a few more.

Andrea has some new participants for her Inner Spirit Circle and that’s good news – a few more would be even better. Check out the workshop area of the Newsletter and see if this one is for you.

Some new crystals have arrived and the beautiful raw Mookite is just stunning. The colours are so typical of the Australian Outback, but be warned the choice will not be easy.

Don’t forget  Monday evening Meditation is now FREE – you don’t need to book,  just arrive prior to 6.30pm and enjoy a bit of  time-out with Doris.  Spiritual Awareness 101 follows the Meditation.

Estealia is now at JOPO each Thursday and Friday from 11am – 2pm for readings. It’s a good idea to book though.

Our JOPO Shop is coming along nicely and should be up and running sooner than I thought, so keep an eye out for details.

My apologies for the Newsletter being late this time. Trying to co-ordinate the Workshops can be a bit of a nightmare. Andreas Space Clearing Workshop was on today, personally I would have loved to attend but the Newsletter must take priority. I did call in as it was finishing and the attendees looked suitably impressed. We will organize another one as soon as we can, so that those who missed out get another chance.  Space Clearing is an important part of our well being so we could all do with the additional knowledge Andrea shares.

As most of  you are aware, we have limited space, so if you are considering attending the Free “Take Responsibility for Your Health” night,  email or ring asap. I do hope they give us a few tips on colds and flu – it seems a bit of a problem at the moment with all this crazy weather.

I’m really excited about our online shop!!  It will take a little while to get off the ground, but will be a wonderful showcase for the type of products available at JOPO and because it is on-line you will be able to shop 24/7 !!!

Just where is the time going?  We have been busy here at JOPO with our regular groups starting for the year – Intuitive Awareness, Meditation, Drumming, Pangentas, Open Circle have all come back in 2011 to a good start. Doris ran her Pendulum Workshop so if you see someone checking out the Vitamins in Go Vita or the Organic Shop with a Pendulum – it is probably one of the workshop participants!!

Inner Spirit Circle (with Andrea) commenced 9th February and we had a great night. Lots of fun and laughter and some serious stuff too – all in all the feedback from those participants I have spoken to has been very positive. Congratulations Andrea.

Mind2Mind with Christina and Sandra (24th Feb) still has some seats available, let me know if you wish to attend.

Luke’s Hypnosis & NLP workshop (Sun 27th Feb) still has room for a couple more – so if you are interested give us a call – Luke is a great teacher and I’m sure you would gain a great deal as well as enjoy this workshop.

Kylie’s Tarot Class (starts Tues 1st Mar) is filling fast – if you want to join in – book soon. Regarding this workshop I had a “blonde moment” on dates – the final date is 12th April not 5th April as I wrote in the Newsletter – sorry.

Now to new stock – finally I have managed to get hold of Tony O’Connor CDs. I love Tony’s music, it is so relaxing and suitable for therapists too. We have started with just some of his titles and will build up the list over time.

Zulugrass!! – Wow these necklaces are beautiful. Made by the Maasi and the story about them is amazing. The colours are amazing too. Check them out – can’t do them justice by description only.

Look out for other new items in the shop as I have found some great new surprises for you!!

Just where did January go?  It’s almost time to kick off the workshops and events for 2011 at JOPO.

This year we have tried to provide a variety of workshops and times for those workshops too, giving those working during the day a chance to have some ME time. We hope you will join in any that take your fancy and not only learn something but enjoy the benefits of spending time with like-minded people.

As you are probably aware we re-opened 19th January, giving me time (I thought) to really tackle my “To Do” list – well,  fate had other ideas and I had to spend a number of days sitting around resting my foot. Instead of the “To Do” list I got out the “To Read” list and had a lovely time catching up on some great reading. How to Read the Akashic Records by Linda Howe caught my attention and a really interesting read – can’t wait to try the meditation!! Angel Magic by Cassandra Eason is full of the most delightful uplifting little stories that may even convince the non-believers – well maybe. Then there is “a friend like henry” a story of a boy with autism, his family and the heart warming lessons his dog Henry teach not only the little boy, but his parents and friends too. Just a warning though – keep a box of tissues nearby. I also had the chance to re-read The Other Side and Back by Sylvia Browne. I have read a few of her books and although interesting they did not grab me. This particular one I enjoyed reading the second time as much as the first.

Then it was Newsletter time – and I hope you take advantage of the wonderful workshops the facilitators have worked so hard to prepare for you.

Please continue to send healing and prayers to those affected by floods and bushfires, as the clean up and rehabilitation will take much time and those concerned can use all the help as they can get.

We didn’t get a chance to do an update on Wednesday this week. It is now Christmas Eve and all that is left to do is wish everyone and safe and happy Christmas break. To those who work over this time, please be assured your efforts are appreciated. While on the subject of appreciation may I quote John Edward – “Communicate, Validate and Appreciate” this applies to those on Earth as well as those in Spirit.

JOPO will re-open Wednesday 19th January 2011 at 10am.
