October November News

By October 7, 2009News

It has been an interesting few months, Loraine and I had a great trip to Cairns in July, bit of a culture shock though, 5 degrees when we left Sydney and 30 degrees in Cairns !!! The intention was to have a rest but with so much so see and do, rest was way down on the agenda. If you pop into the shop have a look at my amazing orb photo—I knew Paul wouldn’t miss this trip !!

Next exciting news is our website is up and running—finally!!! Check it out on www.jopo.com.au (also notice we have a new email address although the old ones still work too). I would really like to hear what you think of it – yes good and bad.

The Oztion shop only has a few items listed at the moment, but it’s building slowly.

I will still be emailing the Newsletters, but your friends can download it direct from the website if they like.

Christmas is approaching way too fast, so to assist our customers we have decided to have a couple of “Family Shopping Sundays” – Sun 15th November and Sun 20th December. More details over page. As a special thankyou to all our Newsletter friends we have organized a shopping night for Wednesday 25th November. For the regulars—I have a special little “Wish List Book” – pop in anytime and write your Christmas list, then send your partner (or Mum, Dad, sister, brother or friend) in to do their Christmas shopping at JOPO with the knowledge that a choice from your list is sure to please!!! Don’t forget we have Gift Vouchers available for goods and/or readings too. For bigger items there is still time to use our Lay-by system. I have a friend who goes shopping, selects her gift, lay-bys it and then presents the docket to her husband, so he doesn’t even have to think about what to buy her—works for them!

Kerrie’s workshops have been a great success, and for those who missed out (or would like to do them again) we have invited Kerrie back in November. The Mediumship one especially was so full of wonderful information and I’ll use the word advice regarding what to expect in a reading. Kerrie is just so down to earth and refreshing. See the workshop area for details of the upcoming workshops.

A group of us went to see Lisa Williams earlier in the year and we have booked again for her next tour—we are also off to see Kelvin Cruickshank (Sensing Murder). After reading his book Walking in Light—just have to see this guy in person—he sounds such a character—will let you know next Newsletter how it went.

Speaking of books—a friend lent me her copy of The Last Lecture (thanks Sandra), an amazing read – the type of book where you go from laughter to tears and back again. It is also a book that really makes you think about life’s jigsaw. Just had to get it for the shop. Another I loved, two actually, were Forever Ours and Beyond Knowing by Janis Amatuzio, MD. Along the lines of Brian Weiss (Many Lives, Many Masters) she is a Medical Professional, who after hearing story after story, realized there is definitely more than just this life. She now lectures medical people, Drs, Nurses etc and relates many of these stories, so that when they come across them, they are not dismissed as hallucinations or dementia. Just wish there was someone in this country doing it.

Melody’s super new and large book is finally back in stock—a bit pricey at $150 but what a stunning book—a must for the crystal enthusiast.
